What is Reiki?

Both “Rei” and “Ki” translate literally as “spirit” and the joint characters “Reiki” are often interpreted as universal life force energy or more simply, spiritual healing.

The system of Reiki most practised in the west now was established in Japan in the 1800s although the concept itself has been around for centuries. The aim of Reiki is to balance and harmonise the energy centres within the body, known as chakras promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

 

How does Nail Surgery work?

During a session, you remain fully clothed while I place my hands lightly on or just above your body in a series of positions, facilitating the flow of energy. It can be carried out in a seated or prone position and either “hands on” or “hands off”. Many people experience warmth, tingling, or a deep sense of peace and wellbeing. The Reiki energy will go to wherever it is needed most as directed by the body.

This means that her training has met a specific standard and must prove my attunement lineage back to Mikao Usui, the Father of Reiki.
