What is the difference between a Podiatrist, a Chiropodist and a Foot Health Practitioner?

There is ZERO difference between a Podiatrist and a Chiropodist. A Podiatrist is merely a more modern term for Chiropody. A Foot Healthcare Practitioner, however, specialises specifically in skin and callus removal, as well as nail cutting and working closely with Podiatrists for those of us that need regular ‘foot maintenance’.

Our Podiatrists are trained to a degree level. Each one specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of all problems relating to the foot and lower limbs. They are all Health and Care Professions Council registered and members of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
